Kaisa Halminen

Masseuse
Kaisa Halminen UniSport masseuse

I graduated as a classical massage therapist from the Helsinki City College of Social and Health Care in summer 2010. I started as a trainee massage therapist at the university in the spring of that same year, and after that, I stayed as a permanent massage therapist at UniSport. I aim to improve my professional skills anytime I can by participating in practical and interesting courses related to wellbeing services.

I've previously had many other jobs, including years of office work, so I have first-hand experience of the problems related to desk jobs. I also have a degree in cultural history, so history and culture are dear to my heart.

I try to make my treatment sessions into a relaxing experience by having a pleasant touch and environment. I try to listen to the client as much as possible, also for adjusting the amount of force I use. I have classical music playing in the background, something I personally like to listen to.

My hobbies include bicycle commuting, body care, gardening, the opera and sculpting. I live with my two teenage sons in North Helsinki, where I also have my own practice. I can communicate about massage in Finnish, English, and largely in Latin, too.

I love my job and it shows!
