Frequently asked questions

3. Come to the sports centre

If you come for a single or introductory visit, you will receive a code to access the gyms even when customer service is not available. A single or trial visit purchased is valid until the end of the following day from the time of purchase.

When you buy a season or 10-card, visit the sport centre where customer service is present. At the customer service desk you will receive a sports card which will allow you to move around the sports centres and stamp yourself for all services. You can find the customer service desk on site at three UniSport centres.

How to check yourself in with your PIN code or sports card:

  • To check in for a group excercise class or ball game group, use the access control device, which is the touchscreen located in the sports center.
  • For the gym, the check-in is done at the entrance gate.

4. Start your exercise

Now for the real thing - getting moving! Whether it's a gym workout, one of our inspiring group exercise classes or maybe you want to join a ball game group to play?

You'll need to bring flexible workout clothes, indoor shoes, a water bottle, a sweat towel and a padlock for the changing room. You can buy your own lock from our customer service or hire one for your training session.

You can also take advantage of UniSport's free Gym Guidance service where personal trainers provide workout tips and guide you on how to use the gym equipment.

Gym Guidance

If you work out at the gym, please familiarize yourself with the gym etiquette that every gym-goer should follow to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

If you choose to join a group training class, please read first our Group Training Etiquette.

Find your own way of moving

The best way to move is to do it your way. So think about what you like most about the way you move and why you move. Do you prefer to move by yourself, in a group or even in a group from home? Do you get extra motivation from the instructor or do you motivate yourself? What kind of goals inspire and motivate you? Take the courage to fulfil yourself through sport and enjoy the journey!

Training card services

Gym

You can start training in the gym on your own, but we also offer coaching. During our Gym Guidance hours, a personal trainer will be present in our gyms to give you guidance on performance techniques and ideas for training.

Online services

Please note that a booked group exercise class must be cancelled in accordance with UniSport's terms of use if you are unable to attend. We will charge a 5 euro reactivation fee for uncancelled bookings. You can not arrive late for class.

If a group exercise class is full, you can reserve a place in the queue if you wish. Please note that the same cancellation conditions apply to the queue.

Ball games groups

At UniSport you can play ball games in a variety of ways. Ball games include futsal, basketball, cricket, volleyball and volleyball. For beginners, it's a good idea to start with the 'Casual players' practice, which are designed for casual play, while the Experienced players' practice sessions are a good option for those who are more used to the games.

Courses

Courses are a great way to learn a new sport or form of exercise safely or to improve your technique. With a course, you train in the same group for the whole course. Teaching or coaching is always progressive. Dance courses, for example, give you the chance to practice choreography properly. You can also choose from a range of different disciplines from the weekly group exercise classes.

Our classes are open to everyone. You don't need previous experience in the course unless specifically mentioned in the course description.
