UniSport’s spring season lineup is full of old favorites and exciting new options! Try different sports from group exercise classes to ball games, boost your training motivation with the help of a Personal Trainer, or treat yourself to a restorative massage. Explore below what else is in store when the spring season starts on January 2nd.

Find workout buddies in the UniSport Buddy group

Looking for a companion for the gym, ball games, or jogging? Meeting new people and making friends can sometimes feel challenging and requires a bit of initiative. To help with this, UniSport now offers a new platform – the UniSport Buddy Signal group, where you can meet new people through sports and exercise. Anyone can join, whether you’re just considering starting to exercise or are already a seasoned gym-goer – come and be a part of it!

Workshops and free Gym Guidance

During the spring, workshops will be held at UniSport gyms, focusing on various themes of strength training. These workshops are free for training card and 10-card holders. Workshops for gym training will be available in the calendar in week 2.

Weekly gym guidance is also available, where Personal Trainers will help you learn how to use the equipment. Check the schedules for gym guidance. New courses for University members

The spring course selection for university members includes options ranging from barbell techniques to volleyball. A much-requested addition this season is the 12-week Beginner Training Group, which is a fantastic way to make exercise a regular routine with the support of a coach and a small group. For those starting gym workouts, there are the Gym Start and Gym Start Advanced courses, offering beginner-friendly gym programme and tools for independent training. Secure your spot in the courses! Please note that the courses will be held in Finnish, unless otherwise specified in the course name.

Carefree Shoulders and Wellbeing Sessions

Time for a break? UniSport offers free Carefree Shoulders exercise breaks to refresh your study and workdays, both on campuses and remotely. Short breaks can work wonders for both body and mind – try one during back-to-back meetings or while finishing an essay! Check the Carefree Shoulders schedules.

For university staff, themed Wellbeing Sesssions are also available, offering practical tips to improve overall wellbeing. Add these Wellbeing Sessions to your calendar and take a quick morning moment for your wellness!
