Physiotherapy service

Some of our trainers are also trained physiotherapists. If you have a background of injuries or other special ailments, you can benefit from the professionalism and guidance of Aino Haarala.

Under the guidance of a physiotherapist your health and functional ability are promoted by making use of the methods of physiotherapy. This guidance is individually-tailored to take into account the specifics of your sporting background, level of fitness, and any musculoskeletal problems and/or stress injuries or sports injuries you may have.

The physiotherapy guidance is delivered in one of our gyms or sports and fitness facilities. The aim of this service is to achieve the best possible improvements to your everyday functioning, with special attention paid to your background, goals, and specific needs. The physiotherapy sessions do not include manual therapies such as massage.

Please note! The service consists of movement and exercise guided by a physiotherapist and is not the same as physiotherapy. You do not need a referral from your GP to access the service, nor are you eligible for financial support from KELA if you use the service.

This service can include eg.

  • Assessing your functional level through exercises and an interview
  • Objective tests and test feedback (not InBody testing)
  • Rehabilitative support to alleviate physical discomfort
  • Follow-up tests, a conclusive review, and a next-step programme.
