UniSport’s new self-service gym in Töölö opening on the 20th of August 2019

UniSport will open a new gym in Töölö on the 20th of August 2019 at 5.00. The self-service gym is located in a central area on Pohjoinen Hesperiankatu and will be open every day from 5.00-24.00. To use the facilities, make sure your training card is valid and pick up a free access sticker from UniSport customer service point starting on Monday the 12th of August 2019.

Explore UniSport Töölö’s self-service gym by using your valid training card and picking up a separate access sticker to enter the new gym. The access sticker for the self-service gym is valid according to your training card.

 How to get your access sticker?

·        Get your free access sticker from UniSport customer service point starting on Monday the 12th of August (from UniSport Kluuvi, Kumpula, Meilahti or Otaniemi).

  • During the first three weeks after opening (from 20th August till 5th September 2019) our customer service will be available also in Töölö from Monday till Thursday from 16-20. You are then welcome to get your access sticker there.

How to purchase a training card?

  • In case you need to purchase a valid training card, please visit our website or our customer service point.
  • If you are student or member of staff at the University of Helsinki, Aalto or Hanken, you can sign up and make the purchase in our website.
  • Other customers entitled to special prices, please visit our customer service point with certificates required.
  • You will find more information about customer groups and methods of certification in our price list.

 

You may also use the 10-visit card at the self-service gym when the new gym administration system is launched in December 2019.

 The Töölö self-service gym is open every day between 5.00-24.00.

UniSport’s new self-service gym is located near good public transport connections on Pohjoinen Hesperiankatu. The gym is open every day between 5.00-24.00, so you can choose a time that suits you best. The bright and well-equipped gym offers 300 square meters of comfortable training space flooded with natural light. Please note, that the self-service gym is not suitable for physically disabled customers.

 A new self-service gym serves our gym customers

This self-service gym is the first of its kind for UniSport. Gym training is becoming even more popular, which has been noticed at UniSport, too. In fact, half of the visits yearly are made by our gym customers.

UniSport Töölö closed its doors due to the renovation of the Aalto University School of Business main building in May 2019. A majority of our customers at UniSport Töölö are UH, Aalto and Hanken students and staff, who live or work in the area. This is why we find it important to continue providing gym services in Töölö. We will also offer your favourite group training classes at UniSport’s City Centre locations, as well as UniSport Meilahti, Otaniemi, Kumpula and Viikki.
